The last two weekend saw DCWST Alpine Racers competing at State Championships. U12 athletes who competed at Roundtop Mountain Resort included Emma Easterday, Brady Guidera, Lillian Flesch, Eliot Eckel, Bo Desjardins, JJ Bergin, Vale Braun, Jack Haigh, Giorgio Perfetti, Garrett Williamson and Liam Niesslein. Emma Easterday qualified for Francis Piche Invitational. U14 athletes who competed at Seven Springs Mountain Resort were Sophia Michailov, Arden Braun, Troy Bray and Oscar Pearlman.

U16 athletes Trent Bray, Chase Desjardins, Asher Eckel, Gavin Grunseich, Connor Flesch, Isla Norrington, Ava Anderson, and Kara Opfer traveled to Blue Mountain Resort in Pennsylvania. Of the U16 qualifying DCWST State Championship athletes, Isla Norrington (12th), Trent Bray (10th) and Chase Desjardin (11th) put forth great efforts to qualify for the U16 State Team and will travel to compete in the Eastern Finals.  U18 athletes Maraid Johnson, Abigail Mullin, Gavin Nolan, and Avabella Perfetti traveled to Elk Mountain Ski Resort in Pennsylvania for the Pennsylvania Cup Finals. Of the U18 qualifying DCWST athletes, Maraid Johnson secured her position on the U18 State Team and will travel to compete in the Eastern Finals.

DCWST Snowboarders competed in the Wisp Resort hosted the Goodish Rail Jam on Saturday, March 1st. August Cain and Avery Badalian both finished on the podium, securing 3rd place in their respective age groups. Also this past weekend, DCWST Snowboarder Tristan Durham competed in a USASA event at Massanutten Resort, where he placed 3rd in Slopestyle and 2nd in Rail Jam.
