This last weekend saw select DCWST under 12 (U12) and under 14 (U14) racers travel to the Pennsylvania Alpine Region Association finals. Racers are invited to the two-day competitions based on season performance and compete against the best racers in the state. U12 racers met at Round Top ski area with Oscar Pearlman recognized for a top 10 finish in the slalom. Competing with Oscar were U12 teammates Eliot Eckel, Bowden Dejardins, John Haigh, Emma Easterday, Arden Braun and Lillian Flesch.

U14 racers met at Seven Springs where Trent Bray took 6th place overall, making the PA state championship team and an invite to the U14 Eastern Championship races at Sugarbush, VT in March, while teammate Asher Eckel qualified for the Francis Piche Invitational at Gunstock in NH.  Rounding out the U14 state qualifiers were  DCWST athletes, Troy Bray and Isla Norrington. Congratulations to all the state championship invitees. The regional season wraps up with U16 racing at Blue Mountain and U18+ racing at Elk Mountain this weekend.
