US. Ski & Snowboard recently published a Parent’s Code of Conduct, (similar to the Member Code of Conduct) which ensures an atmosphere of sportsmanship for all participants and spectators. All club affiliates should take a moment to review this important information.

USSS also recently reminded parents that they have public tools that allow parents to ensure that coaches, club leaders and staff are members in good standing with U.S. Ski & Snowboard. Being in good standing requires all adult members with authority over or in regular contact with athletes to be SafeSport trained and background checked. Check out the free Member Lookup tool to ensure adult members of your club have completed all their requirements. Screenings are required every other season, while SafeSport training is required annually.
