Alpine Racing Overview
DCWST's Alpine Racing Team is dedicated to helping both aspiring and experienced young ski racers reach their maximum potential in an exciting and challenging sport in which they can participate throughout their lives. We have a large and dedicated group of coaches that, through small-group instruction and emphasis on fun, helps our young racers hone their skills while having the times of their lives.
Many of our Alpine Racing Team members are part of our Alpine Traveling Team and participate in USSA-sanctioned races around the region and, in many cases, around the country. Other members are part of our developing Alpine Team and participate in intensive training each week here at our home mountain, Wisp Resort, and compete only in the various races we host each year. As members of our Alpine Team progress in abilities and confidence, many will "graduate" to our Alpine Traveling Team and carry on our winning tradition.
